The Fly and Camel Café

presents

Jaylene Johnson

A few years ago, Jaylene Johnson didn’t know if she would be able to sing again.  She had sustained damage to her vocal cords which had to be corrected surgically. After a long period of recovery, she rented a remote cabin on Lake Winnipeg and pushed herself to write two songs a day for a week.  Now those songs have found their way into the world on Jaylene’s Juno-nominated (‘Contemporary Christian/Gospel Album of the Year’) recording ‘Potter and Clay.’

Jaylene had a little help from her friends on ‘Potter and Clay’: Steve Bell served as executive producer and former Doc Walker guitarist Murray Pulver was at the controls as producer.  For her Fly and Camel gig, Jaylene is bringing along an outstanding band, with Ryan Voth on drums, John Baron on bass, and the aforementioned Mr. Pulver on guitar.

For the first time, you can purchase your Fly and Camel tickets online at www.flyandcamel.eventbrite.ca, or you can purchase them as usual at the church.  Come and enjoy an outstanding evening with one of Canada’s finest Christian singer-songwriters.
