Calling all gardeners and those that simply love gardens:
The St. Mary’s Road United Church Gardening group would like to invite you to be part of creating a welcoming place through the care of our gardens.
Volunteers are needed to help with the spring clean up planned for 9:30-1:30 on Saturday May 13th (Rain date: May 20th).
Come for a bit or the whole time, all help is welcomed.
Volunteers are also needed to adopt one of the church gardens during the summer of 2017. You may wish to adopt a garden with friends or make new friends as you care for your garden.
Throughout the summer the gardens will need some planting, weeding, deadheading, some watering at times and lots of love. Gardens that can be adopted include:
On the St Mary’s side of the Church
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to be a part of God’s gardens. The Garden Group will help you get started and answer questions. We also welcome folks to join the SMRUC garden team, which looks after the St. Anne’s garden.
If you are interested in volunteering please contact Lenore Linton or Pat Adams or leave a note in the SMRUC Garden group mailbox.
